When rotavirus struck, the municipality of Condega lacked chlorine because the MINSA's machine was out of order. Potrerillo donated 87 liters of chlorine to the 7 communities with the most urgent need, and we also donated a machine to MINSA that continues to produce chlorine for 48 communities in the municipality. This gives us a valuable tool, not only for the health of the people here, but also to reach out to the community and show them the love of Christ.Church in San Juan area of Nicaragua
We have a large commercial machine to make chlorine, but it's not possible to carry big buckets of chlorine on horseback to some of the remote areas that need it. With this device we can just carry it with us and make the chlorine when and where we need it. Thanks SWIM!

We were amazed at how simple of a device it is and how easily the indigenous people picked up on how to use it. It's made a huge difference in the lives of the people here.
